In this project I explored the mutual relationship between the fabric and piano wire when creating a structure that spans over a 30" x 60" area. I focused heavily on the aspect in which neither the fabric nor the piano wire can function without one another to create this spanning structure. The fabric having its own structural strength after folding creates the form and 'span' while the compressed piano wire organizes the fabric and gives it its final structure. Read Less
