A series of architectural book covers emphasizing basic building materials.
This set of book covers illustrate the three basic architectural building materials; glass, wood, and concrete. The covers are visually tied by simple graphic elements while utilizing different medium; photography, illustration, and a combination of both.

Each book cover illustrates it’s respective material by showing the material in it’s most basic form. Glass sky-scrapers are created by glass bottles. Wood houses are built from blocks of wood. Concrete office buildings are constructed from concrete blocks. The typography is stacked and placed at intervals to mimic the perfection of architectural drawings, and lines intersect to aid the blue-print reference. The back cover of each is a abstracted version of the cover.
