Some time ago I was commissioned to design a series of covers for an interesting music endeavor called Archè Project. The author didn’t have a clear vision of how the covers should look like, so instead he told me about his interests and influences behind his music. He also provided me with the compositions themselves, so that I could design the covers based on my experiences with the music. The music itself is a mixture of genres that creates a very unique atmosphere, but it’s better if you listen to it by yourself (here).
I had to create 4 covers in total – a general one for the album and 3 individual ones for each of the compositions. I had an idea to create the images using basic geometric shapes and add depth to the designs. I designed the individual covers first and then I combined the design for the final one.
