The poster uses an optical illusion. From a distance you see a face which fades the closer you get to the poster in the same way that the personality of people with Alzheimer's slowly disappears. The logo also plays on the idea of memory loss represented by missing pixels. Read Less

Patient recruitment poster
Designed a poster and other material to raise awareness for a study investigating a new medication for the condition, touching on one of the horrible effects. Carers and close relatives of the patients are the main targets for the campaign. They are all too familiar with the gradual fading of the person they knew and the poster uses an optical illusion. From a distance you see a face which fades the closer you get to the poster. 
The logo plays on the idea of memory loss with some of the pixels having already gone missing
