Alterneutral is a hypothetical design studio started by two designers living in the body of one. The designer has two conflicting entities in his mind, each possessing opposite design ideals. It is an experiment to find a new aesthetic by questioning the existing discourse between the rationalist ideals of modernism and the contextualist ideals of postmodernism. It is a hypothetical project done at Maryland Institute College of Art under the guidance of Jennifer Cole Phillips and Silas Munro. Special Thanks to Ellen Lupton.
