Alice In Wonderland Tour - Comic Con 2009
When the Comic-Con came to San Diego this summer, I was asked by 42 Entertainment to quickly locate, manage, and coordinate an emergency team of scenic artists to repair and re-faux finish the Alice in Wonderland International Touring exhibit for a surprise viral marketing campaign with director Tim Burton. This exhibit was produced by Disney as part of a new viral campaign to help promote their new Alice In Wonderland movie starring Johnny Depp.
I was honored to have been asked to help freshen the look of the highly detailed sets, which had travelled from London and arrived more than a little beat up. Our small crew spent about a week making repairs, re-painting and matching faux finishes, making additions to the set, and fixing some of the damaged props.
