Professor Shoals, a talented band from LA, commissioned me to create a custom illustration and cover design for their newest EP. You can check them out at pshoals.com.

 

The original illustration is pen and watercolor, 5.5" x 5.5" on Arches 90lb cold press. For the cover design, I scanned the illustration into Photoshop, rebuilt the background shapes in Illustrator for a smoother look, and touched up the paper background to give the cover a bit more depth. Thanks to the Professor Shoals folks, this project was loads of fun!
