Poster
The purpose of the project was to create a poster that promoted a beneficial activity for the community in a positive way. The limitations for the poster was 20 inches by 30 inches, be in a vertical orientation, promote a beneficial activity to the community, and send a positive message. The intended audience was the place I was currently in, which was Richmond, Virginia. The result of my project was a poster about adopting a pet, instead of purchasing one. I chose to include a die cut centered dog silhouette above a line of text, "Fill the emptiness". The message that I hoped to send out was that someone could fill the emptiness in the dog's life, and in return the dog could fill the emptiness in the person's life. This would be represented when the poster is hung on a wall and one is able to see a filled image in the die cut. The emptiness is filled.
