Advertising concept and design for the Lollapalooza-Chile chapter 2014, using pictures taken during the 2012 festival in Santiago, Chile. The typography is playful and echoes the chilean flag colors red white and blue, adding value to the Lollapalooza brand as it becomes local and thus familiar. The photography comes from an iPhone 4 which conveys a warm vintage feel. The subject matter is the concert going crowd basking in the sun, enjoying the music, free time and friends, in peace. That's what the Lollapalooza is all about. That, in my opinion, is what the brand communicate, using local symbols and costumes in order to gain trust and attractiveness in different countries.
