It’s a place withno “middle”, just juxtapositions – ancient landscapes and modern structures.The additions feel like they were picked from a catalogue, then shipped in androlled out with scant regard for the surroundings. It makes for a strange fit –as if half of what you see is permanent but the rest hasn’t quite stuck. Added to this is a desert light like asoft flood, exposing everything in equal measures… and highlighting the incompletenessof it all.
