Art Exhibition Catalogue, Poster & Special Edition Case
The A Arte das Mulheres Inuit (The Art of Inuit Women, in English) is an academic redesign project of an exhibition held at the National Museum of Ethnology in late 2001. While redesigning the exhibition's catalogue and poster, the students were to develop a special edition case for the catalogue.

Branding the exhibition itself was one of the priorities of this project. The colour gamut is constituted by 4 colours: black, white, red ochre and beige. On the one hand, it's a primitive and contrasting palette (black and white), on the other hand, it's human and natural (red ochre and beige), very much like the Inuit's own life experience.
The typeface pair (Garamond Premier and FF Quadraat) reinforce this values and the whole theme, accompanying the works of art and life stories of the nine Inuit women.
