SNOKE AND KYLO REN - ADR AND PRO TOOLS PROJECT
This scene, originally seen in The Last Jedi, was taken as part of an ADR (Automatic Dialogue Replacement) educational project at Biola University. As part of our Sound Design course, we worked on a semester-long project to completely reinvent the sound of a movie scene, mixed completely in 5.1 surround sound.
We took all of the sounds out of the original scene and mixed newly recorded dialogue, sound effects, and music.
This scene includes a lot of dialogue, hard sound effects, and score. While the score and original footage belong to Star Wars, this educational project helped with our understanding of Pro Tools Ultimate and sound design.
