Triangle based animation for a logo reveal. Initial Sphere used with a displacer node (using noise). Then used explosion deformer to spread the triangles and connect back using Polygon reduction deformer. Rendered via After Effects using Cineware (which is really cool workflow as I was able to see the colors before hand). Shading done via the technique from GSG Nick (using Fresnel color shading). Used 2 lights top and bottom which created the colors and the transparency in the middle of the sphere.
