A special moment in a brand’s existence is always an exciting time for us.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of CANAL +, we tell the story of the brand, highlighting the key moments in the brand in an unconventional, sensational way, creating impressions and associations inside the wall of shapes and forms.
All the elements have a relationship with each other.
Each subsequent move affects fragments of the wall, until the culmination in which
everything works simultaneously and forms the final KV.
Exactly like the path CANAL + has followed, all key moments and turning points in the technology
used make up what CANAL + is today.
The motion design package commissioned to Lunapark Motion Arts Creative will be used throughout the whole year as part of the CANAL+ branding and identification.
The initial flat vector design came to us from CANAL+ and inspired our work.
Within the possibilities and time constraints we decided to opt for a full 3D that replicated
mapping that could occur in reality.
To honor the CANAL+ history we dug deep into the brand story and used elements from the previous identification versions, for example drawing from the GRADIENT that has been a part of the brand identity in the past.
We work on details and close-ups to showcase all the moments in CANAL+ history.
The first satellite transfer, the introduction of choice of language and subtitles, Dolby Digital surround sound system coming to CANAL+, Multi View option, HDTV and 4K UHD picture coming to the viewers.
Everything within the KV that is a modern animated wall of elements have a story to tell.
