This Cognac's branding pays tribute to the horseman, musician, soldier and fencer Joseph Bologne of Saint George, also known as the "Knight of Saint George", who died in 1799.

Born a slave in the French West Indies, the Knight of Saint George, was able to overcome his condition, rise and shine with his multiple talents in the Paris of the century of the philosophers of the Enlightenment.

This Cognac wishes to share the same idea of transgression and social emancipation by democratizing this liquor too often monopolized by the elites.
