"Housing Complex[ity]" is a dormitory project which investigated the physical features, biological systems, and growth processes of coral. The study of coral helped inform the building's aesthetic as well as strategies addressing light, ventilation, circulation, and future expansion. Its organization was also driven by programmatic necessities, in addition to material and energy flows. Reflecting the structure and functions of coral, the project produced various habitats and living conditions for college residents.
