The visual to reinforces the text. Creating visuals for abstract ideas, is one of the marketing struggles that is growing with our increasingly visual culture. Adding a simple images to plain text, can help the viewer to retain the information up to 40% better. The more vivid the image, the better.




Take this zero emission poster. I believe we all care about the environment. Even though not all people believe in climate change, most of us do suspect that mankind has something to do with it - how much is scientifically debatable. We all have an interest in reducing carbon emissions, if only for the sake of having cleaner air and cleaner oceans. It's something we can get behind. The image was made to speak to all different people with different beliefs.





So, i tried to find a nice image of a man resembling 'the scream', and honestly; this is the best I could find. I guess it's an eye catcher.

It's been a lot of fun creating this artwork, finding the right pieces and fitting them together.

The hardest work is finding the right images really.
This is especially true for the next poster 
I didn't even notice I put an extra chair in the picture.


"Over 150 million metric ton of plastic are lurking in our oceans right now." 

I prefer making visuals for environmental/sustainability issues. The figurative 'weight' of these topics make it easy to create a vivid image. Designing images that put a spotlight on new perspectives and encourage progressive action, is my ultimate goal.
