The given task for this design was to produce a small three-bedroom infill strategy, suitable for a multi-generational share house. The infill was to be placed on a lot within an existing suburban setting, which is located in Inala, Brisbane. The infill is to not only provide a suburban strategy within the block, but to accommodate 3 clients, who are of varying ages and numerous individual requirements. There were a multitude of factors to consider for the infill site, through its practicality, appeal, convenience, context, constraints and environmental aspects. The work displayed thoroughly covers the development of the proposed infill housing, through the overarching concept, rooms, sizes, site analysis, floor orientation, site strategy, environmental considerations, exemplars, and the drawings incorporated with the final product.
The drawings and site illustrations provided, showcase the final proposal of the infill housing strategy. The final iterations communicates the Inala suburb's context, housing exemplar inspirations, site strategy, 1:1000 site plan, 1:200 floor plans, 1:100 elevations, 1:50 section, and external perspective.
