“Behind Three Stars” is a photography project about the italian restaurants awarded the three Michelin Stars.

Crossing Italy, bringing out what’s behind the image and the name of these top places, it has been realized that these culinary excellences are closer to the world of design and art like never before.
Paintings, sculptures, architectures and even photography permeate each recipe creating something extremely innovative.

So, what’s behind these food masterpieces? Which is the secret recipe of being a 3 stars Michelin restaurant?

During the itinerary, it has been tried to find a response, stage by stage, gathering special ingredients, fundamental to the success.
The answer has several parts:
Passion, Involvement, Dedication, Trust and Team Work.
Major themes which uphold effort, precision, research and harmony.

The Italian culture is a precious heritage, the Italian cuisine is rich in resources and being in the backstage of these restaurants gives the chance to understand what’s behind their strength: persons.
