The Brief: Create a master identity for “The Chimera Creative Brief” to be used annualy by the Cannes Chimera Initiative within the Cannes creative community.
Establish a persona for the brief that resonates with the creative community.
 
Key message:
Trough a single line execution, engage and inspire the world’s brightest creative thinkers to answer the Chimera Creative brief and change the world.
 
Target audience:
The Cannes creative audience of 75000+ worldwide and 10000+ delegates each year onsite.

How the designed mark answers the brief?
 
Our concept is "folding & unfolding the world" and we've chosen origami to implement it.
 
Origami and Chimera Creative Brief  bring ideas to life by using a single piece of paper, change perceptions and prove that you can achieve anything you set your mind on. A creative trying to shape the world has to provide the guidelines of how to fold and unfold the world’s facing problems.

How this identity could evolve?

The beautiful thing about CCB is the infinite posibilities of "folding and unfolding the world".

It could evolve in 3D objects, placed on the festival site during the Cannes Lions week, which communicate the brief’s problem needed to be solved. 

It can be used as an outdoor media channel (for example we can use origamy fying planes to send the brief as you could see above in the example 3 - box of colored planes). The planes could be launched from the top of the Palais de Festivals building. As a creative you pick it up, unfold the brief, and think of a solution.

We see Chimera Creative Brief as the evolution of humankind, a constant transformation of concepts and shapes and no matter what, the folding proces leaves marks on paper as evidence of trying, a “Start Up for better“.
