LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR
This is the first entry to my automobile collection. I woke up one day and thought of painting the new lamborghini aventador when it came out...
And this is how I did it
THE SKETCH
this is basically an outline... I had a model of course.
THE TEXTURE
the same with how I create my glossy textures, I just use the standard soft round brush with very low opacity...
A closer look...
This is where it gets exciting... In digital painting and in any other design there will always be optical illusions... To put it simply in this project, it's making your audience believe it's a tire while knowing it's just a bunch of lines.
I'll show you how...
The trick is to play with shadows and highlights. While looking at where the light hits the chrome, it would be easier to find out how it would appear on a black background. It's all just lines after that.
by just looking at the painting,it would seem like it is a whole object...
however, If you would then place a different color behind the chrome,
it would look like this...
I did the same thing with the interior...
