Tribute Event Promo T-Shirt
Soul Slam is a quarterly musician/artists tribute event in Los Angeles with DJ Spinna.
I was contacted by the co-founders to design them a promotional t-shirt for their original Michael Jackson and Prince tribute night. With over a thousand people attending the party. Everyone dances to their favorite artist. While getting drinks, they can get there photo taken with life size cutouts. When they want to take a breather there's a live art stage, and were Family Industries live screen prints the design of the guests choice.
The client requested a portrait of Michael Jackson and Prince with the event title. So I thought it would be interesting to create a portrait with out using their faces but a physical symbol that represents each.
