Samsonite Hartlan

Created for Samsonite in collaboration with Samsonite Asia Design Team, Samsonite Hartlan is a collection of polypropylene suitcases designed to be functional and sophisticated. The shell is made with precision injection molding, which creates invisible seams, clean-cut edges, and embossed details. The slender rectangular shape with round edges maximizes capacity and minimizes bulk. The micro surface grooves add texture with an elegant matte finish and protect the luggage from the wear-and-tear of in-route handling. Two sheer lines contour the shell accentuating its curves and drawing the eye to the other design elements. Samsonite Hartlan won the 2018 Red Dot Award for Product Design.
