The Minnesota Department of Human Services has a depth of experience in dealing with problem gambling in Minnesota. One of the largest hurdles they have is getting people with destructive gambling habits to recognize that they may have a problem. One of the ways they chose to do so is to connect with the people in the lives of a problem gambler. Russell Herder developed the "Treatment Works" website as a resource for people who may know a problem gambler and need to know more about problem gambling and what they can do.
