Poster Series : Home for the Expat
This poster series explores the merging of two places into one. The series focuses on the east coast of both America and Ireland: the city, the coastal town, the hood, and the suburbs. What if we could move old Ireland over to America as the old song goes? What if we could have each piece of the places we call home all in one place? Would it be all that different or would it all fit neatly together?

My study focuses on the duality of American-Irish people who carry two homes with them wherever they roam. This poster series explores what our merged homes look like in our minds, though it would never be physically possible to bring two cities together. The posters specifically merge together the following towns:
The suburbs: Ardmore, PA and Rush, Dublin
The city: Philadelphia and Dublin
The hood: Upper Darby, PA and The Liberties, Dublin
The coastal town: Wildwood, NJ and Skerries, Dublin

What colours define each town? What landmarks? Signage? Type of buildings and streets? These towns are more similar than one would originally think, and I convey the perception of home through collage.
