In 2017, SAIT undertook its first annual Giving Day. 

Giving Day was a one-day fundraising event that brought the greater SAIT family together for a common cause — supporting our students. The goal was to raise $25,000 in 24 hours to support two newly established student-focused funds that could have a direct impact on our students’ success.

But the fun started before that. For two weeks leading up to Giving Day, the SAIT community counted down the days by posting photos on social media showcasing what SAIT means to us and using #SAITGIVES. The response was amazing! During the

two weeks, there were 516 mentions of #SAITGIVES including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
