Background
E-Verify is a tool created by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, an agency of the Department of Homeland Security, that verifies the workforce eligibility of US employees. In their goal to increase enrollment, they identified small business owners as an opportunity for growth but recognized that reaching and connecting with them required a unique approach. We developed a live-action video specifically designed to speak to this market segment and communicate how using E-Verify can help small business owners grow their businesses with confidence.
Strategy
Understanding that no two small businesses or business owners are alike, we sought to create a diverse, inclusive video that touched on several popular small business industries. We highlighted a salon, an auto shop, restaurant, and a traditional office setting, enabling viewers to cast themselves in the role of hiring manager and experience firsthand how E-Verify’s tools and resources make the employee verification process faster and more efficient while providing security and peace of mind.
The video struck a chord with small business owners, connecting business success and growth with the values of hard work and efficiency. It helped visualize the tangible benefits of E-Verify for both internal and external stakeholders.
To create this video, we used After Effects for graphic generation and edited the final video in Premiere.
