Music has always been
a great medium for expression.
But what happens when the cause we want to fight for has not been touched by popular culture yet?
Orbit 952 is a project that syncs music with sounds captured by NASA, to bring to life a problem that might sound like it belongs to the future, but is actually a contemporary issue: the space debris problem.
As of 2020 we are slowly becoming entirely dependent on our satellite services- from simple communication to climate monitoring and environment prevention.
The existence of hundreds of thousands of potentially lethal debris travelling at dangerous speeds in congested and competitive orbits not only endanger these services, but could cause an exponential rise of the number of debris in case of an accident.
We have created a journey that brings the user to an interactive experience where they can sign a petition to bring this matter into discussion internationally, at the United Nations where an agenda needs to be set for how to address the issue.
