FUA Conference 2019 Proposal - I was inspired by a topographic map, and by using the outline of Florence I created this pattern that shows how the city is growing outwards because of consumption, gentrification, and the new colonialism.
The brightest color, yellow, is in the center to show the density of how busy it is because of all the tourists, attractions and hotels being built, and that color also represents urban construction.
