In early 2019, the Newfoundland and Labrador Athletics Association (NLAA) ran a contest in which they asked graphic designers to create a finisher medal concept for the annual Tely 10 Road Race. My entry became the winning design, and I was presented with a framed version of the medal during the evening of the race kit pickup. Approximately 4000 medals were produced and awarded to all finishers of the race, myself included!
