As a father, sometimes I struggle where my feelings come from and how to handle them. However, I often think that this is probably nothing compared to what is lived through as a mother. Many times I'm just looking at my wife and son, the miracle that is taking place between them. I do not think that my son does not love me, and I know how much I love him. At the same time, all this dwarfed by the unconditional love, between my wife and my son. Unfortunately I'm only an outsider viewer - a jealous one - but I accept the world order and I am glad to see the magic created between them. It is especially interesting to look for my son, who was in incubator for four months without any intimate connection with his mother. And it works, no need to add words or other means. It simply works. This is very noticeable compared to the lack of it when it's about him and me. If something's wrong, he wants mom, he is sleepy he wants mom, if fussy he wants mom. And luckily she is there. Several times I tried to lull him with rather less than more success. But the recipe is the same. As mom appears, he just snuggles to her, or even a touch of her is enough and he knows that everything is allright, now he can sleep...

The wonder is there, you just have to open your eyes.
