Nike was launching Kevin Durant's signature shoe, the KD12 in China and their agency came up with the idea of depicting the duality of Kevin Durant's journey into gold coins, with each side representing where he came from to where he is now.
I was tasked to create 8 illustrations for this concept, which each piece mirroring its counterpart. From the streets to the NBA, we see key moments of KD's life and career, his struggles and accomplishments depicted in these coins.
