Was approached by Sachs Media, my first project with them, because their other artist had taken the money and run...so to speak. As a clean up mission, for FLORIDA KidCare, they only wanted me to do comic book style art for their project, and finish what the other artist had started. Was working with Erin Pace, who was amazing! And we got the project done for Sachs Media. Once again, done in a style that would work for younger kids, and showing how to handle bad situations.
Here's a few samples from 5 pages of work. Very kid like, simple illustrations, simple inks, so small children would understand. I could not work on the hero KidCare himself, that art was already done, only the side characters. No designing at all either. I did have Creative Direction, from Thumbnails to completion.
Here are the finished products, designed, copy added, which they did at Sachs Media. All I did was the black and white art.
