RADIOACTIVE BLOBS
/Photographic print on crumpled translucent paper, expanding foam, acrylic paint, glue, fairy lights/
Inspired by the form of the "Elephant foot", the most radioactive object on Earth,a melted core structure entombed under the destroyed reactor in Chernobyl, these three light objects are part of my Chernobyl project.
I took the photographs in Chernobyl Exclusion Zone in 2015.
They are pictures of wall structures, murals, details of debris and found objects, and architectural shots of the Duga radiolocator structure.
