Sounds of the Sea, 2020

California-based Joanna Brouk composed slow, sparse works intended for meditation and reflection, utilizing acoustic instruments, vintage synthesizers, field recordings, and the human voice. Her music was inspired by classical minimalism, but it was embraced by the burgeoning new age movement during the 1980s. Throughout the decade, she released several cassettes, including 1981's The Space Between, before moving on from composing music to writing fiction and plays. This project is a rebranding of Brouk's Album "Sounds of the Sea". It has design and art direction for LP, promotional poster and merchandising.
