Inan is a unique traditional brew of the Ibans' tuak (rice wine), made from freshly harvested glutinous rice, sugar and homemade yeast. The zesty tuak recipe is an art deeply steeped in the Iban traditions and perfected by many generations of family artisans.
Inan comes in 2 flavours - the lighter, sweet Rawai (a traditional Iban corset made from silver, worn as part of the Iban Female Ngepan); and the richer, stronger Terabai (the Iban warrior's war shield, a symbol of power, courage and masculinity).
