THE IRON MAN HELMET
As an avid fan of superheroes, particularly Iron Man, I strived to create the actual helmet using Adobe Photoshop... This project will display a simplified transition/ process I made in digitally painting "it".
THE SKETCH
I had a reference material for this... I drew and even picked the color palette right after.
THE TEXTURE
It took me a while to come up with the texture. The reference (which will from now on be referred to as the Model) had a very rusty/ metalic effect to it. I found it very difficult to mimic, but as i have said before, I would make sure to create something as close to the real thing as possible.

After finishing the very messy mask... I erased the excess paint and had this as a result...
Please bear with the horrible handwriting, but I do leave some notes like these (image below). So you'll probably see them in all of my artwork :D
