I started photographing Ostava, one of the most popular Bulgarian rock bands, at one of their parties in 2010, but back then I didn’t even suspect that this is the beginning of a project that will continue for whole 9 years. In 2019 the publishing house Scribens Acoustic released biography book called I, Ostava which became the culmination of this long-standing photography project and the photos of the band which I took through the years found their safest haven in it. For me, this project wasn’t just a job, but a personal experience and a journey together with many other people. I felt at home. Especially valuable were the moments when, during a concert, I was alone in the audience, but at the same time I shared the experience with everyone else. Ultimately, all the stories I witnessed and the shots I took brought me a joy like that of a happy childhood.
