The brief
To illustrate an article that covered the launch of underwater sleepovers at Oceanogràfic de Valencia.
The answer
As the experience is aimed at children; the inspiration came from my own childhood, from the memory of looking up in awe at seemingly vast expanse of the aquarium tank.
The hard part part was balancing the colour palette, as it was obviously set at night-time and dark palettes notoriously don’t print well. I needed to solve the problem of conveying the sense of atmosphere of the aquarium while being CYMK friendly.
