At the beginning of 2020, I had the chance to take portraits of my lovely colleagues in Bito. Being highly inspired by the story telling skills of Platon, I decided to execute the photo shoot in black and white and used what I learned from Platon's documentary: communicate, learn and listen to the subject. I really tried to bring out the strongest personalities of them. 

I used a Leica Q-P. Since it is a 28mm lens, it is necessary to get quite close to the subject in order to get a clean head shot. Some of them felt a bit intimidated by how close I had to be to them. As a result, it took me a bit longer than expected to make them feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. One thing that helped a lot is to play musics that the subjects had in their playlist. Unfortunately I realized it nearly at the end of the shoot, but hopefully I will get the chance to do it again in the near future.
