An alternate history. A world developed under a plot from an event that did not happen, or that happened differently. It's a different timeline than the real event.
It is a divergent event that separates reality from other possible alternative realities, in which the events occurred in a different way. Combining verisimilitude in the structure of the plot and the development of the events, starting from a point that is different from that registered historically.
Origin of the term
The term was coined by the French philosopher Charles Renouvier in the 19th century in his 1857 work Uchronie: L'utopie dans l'Histoire, where he defines it as ""that which has no time, that which is not lodged in time, and,
in particular, in historical time... assuming the possibility of a radical change of history by
the slightest deviation from its course.
CONCEPT DESIGN I CG CONCEPT
The basic structure used for the development of this
concept design takes three relevant structures, the
glass sphere, the desiccated insect and the Light.
The rhinoceros beetle (Dynastinae) was used in concept,
because of its relationship with the force of loading.
Symbol of capacity within history.
The Body forms
The design carved into the insect, describes a map,
or a guide that is part of the history of the symbol.
This is a representation and visual concept of the Uchronie.
The Cristal Waves
The glass structure, includes us within the history as spectators,
and that shows the deformation of everything we can appreciate,
of what we suppose to know.
The shape of the sphere
It's the container and the prison for our object. Delimit
a space without corners but freeze the action, represent
the divergent point.
The Light and the Four Lines
Understand the end of the composition being that everything
we knew has been broken down and changed its direction
completely towards the Light. There are now four different
aspects to the same start. Four realities, dissected in empty space.
H O W W A S M A D E
Start with a basic 3D model to make a black and white light study.
Then visual research brought in some structures to consider be placed.
