LOONA is a South Korean girl group formed by Blockberry Creative. Its 12 members were revealed in a monthly periodic fashion with different designated colors, corresponding to their Korean name Idarui Sonyeo (이달의 소녀), which translates to "Girl of the Month".
‘Phases of LOONA’ is a series of illustrations using the state of the moons as “the metaphor to the 3 Phases of LOONA which are "BORN, BURN, TURN & FREE”. As a fan of their exceptional storytelling, aesthetics, music and visuals; I decided to explore the Lunar theme to visualize the concept in a unique way.
