Statues of Davis Square
In 2007, The Somerville Arts Council and the MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority) held a competition for local artists to create art for the Davis Square T (subway) station. They chose nine pieces which they printed on 3' x 3' panels and set up on the subway platform. My piece was among those selected and is currently on display. The painting features my wife interacting with a couple of famously life-like figure sculptors located in the heart of Davis Square, Somerville.
