The Desolation of Smog
It was midnight and it was winter. Our university campus was entirely covered with smog which is often the case in the National Capital Region during this season.
But I'd never seen so much smog and it really felt dystopic and surreal. Also, my memory was fresh with imagery and music from the film Blade Runner 2049 which was defintely an inspiration for this series.
So I picked up my camera, a warm jacket and mask and went out on a stroll around
the cold and polluted campus accompanied by my two fellow photographers , Shiv and Manoj, who were kind enough to stand in as models for me when I requested them to.
The above two pictures were shot and color corrected taking inspiration from the opening credits sequence from Netflix's Daredevil.
