Design a logo for yourself is always a challenge as you are both the designer and the client with the aspirations and needs that each party has. To design the logo of LGT, Lucas wanted to create a symbol that clearly explains not only what they do but how they do it - while at the same time would easily cover all communication needs that a logo must consider nowadays.
LGT is a design studio specialized in graphic design and branding but also in the design and development of products and spaces. This multidisciplinary approach was the inspiration behind this symbol which blends the two-dimensional graphical world with the space of objects in three dimensions. As such, this solution plays with the LGT name and goes from a flat object to the three-dimensional world, like a sculpture where geometry and balance take the leading role, where lights and shadows cast and reflect.
