How to Turn Windows 10 Tablet in a Dashboard for Forza Horizon 4
While playing ground-breaking racing games like Motorsport 7, Forza Horizon 4, and Project Cars 2, there are some necessary details that can hit your visions directly. While driving cars, it is hard to focus on the driving display.
However, you can improve it to make your experience better through an additional display dashboard. Well, an external display of the dashboard doesn’t cost much. You can use your laptop or computer for it.
All along, it doesn’t require any highly technical functioning. In a tablet, you can easily make a dashboard for games like Forza Horizon 4. To make it happen, you just need your Windows 10 PC and an application RealDash from Microsoft Store.
You can use the RealDash tool with real cars, but you have to connect it properly with hardware. Although right now, we are working on a virtual process. In the application, there are several types of dashboards available; you can use the premium version to choose some interesting designed dashboard to stick with. You have to install it on your tablet and connect it with Forza Horizon 4.
How to Connect RealDash with Forza Horizon 4
Launch RealDash and press on “Garage.”
Press on “Door Handle” of visible car.
Press on “Car’s Dashboard.”
Below Connections, press “Add.”
Slide down to the end of the source list and choose “Racing Simulator.”
Select a game.
Remember the following IP address and visible adaptor port.
Boost up the Forza Horizon 4.
Move to “Settings.”
Choose “HUD and Gameplay.”
Slide right side to bottom of the list.
Replace “Data Out.”
Mention IP address from the RealDash below “Data Out IP address” section.
Go through the adapter port below the “Data Out IP port” section.
Press on “Done” in RealDash.
Once you follow these points step by step, Forza Horizon 4 will go for connecting with the chosen dashboard of the car. The dashboard will show you several things. There are some limitations that exist, but still, it is worth trying and using. In the dashboard, Forza Horizon 4 will show information on tire temperature but will not show details of break temperature. It will also make the laps visible.
This virtual feature is super cool; where you can customize the dashboard in many more designs. You can also remove those things that are not working properly. If any specific data you don’t want to see on the dash, you can remove it anytime.
Same as the Forza Horizon 4, you can do changes with all other racing games. The procedures with those games are no different. Use tablets and Windows 10 to get the best experience. Monitoring multiple things like speed, lap, temperature, boost, fuel, and many more things will be visible on a single space. RealDash enables the users to know more about their racing paths along with their vehicles.
