A set of illustrations inspired by the Pagan/Black Metal band 'Northern Oak'. In these I tried use the same sources of inspiration as they did, and combine it with the emotions and direction the music conjured up.
I tried to keep a cohesive aesthetic in all the paintings, and felt that I achieved this. Once finished, I contacted the band and they were so impressed they uploaded them, and showcased the paintings on their own site (URL above), which was quite an honor.
