MIT is a university driven to develop technologies and ideas that serve the world for the better. To capture the attention of prospective high school students who could be a great match with MIT, I designed a high-impact, low-footprint hybrid poster/editorial print piece that puts the institution's mission on vibrant display.

By pairing the visual intrigue of a fluorescent image of a cancer cell from an award-winning campus laboratory with an inspirational quote from an MIT alumna—all packaged in a metallic translucent mailer envelope—this piece escapes the inevitability of being just another college mailing destined for the recycling bin. Instead, it's a poster students will want to keep (and even hang in their dorm room one day).
