China Chronicles:
A Story from Hunan
Cultural diversity is the definition of China. Though it might not be obvious at first glance, many small and unique ethnicities have lived next to each other for centuries. Although much of their cultural heritage got mixed and assimilated over time, some of the peoples still managed to keep their roots and traditions. The Miao community is spread all across China, and many of them live in the province of Hunan. I made the photos during my trips of 2015/2016.
