Brief: Create an image that summarises the values of a certain target that may interest them in joining the police.

Target: 18–19 year old, upper-quartile female.

I chose to focus on a female aged 18-19, living in an upper quartile area that wants to protect her family, friends and other women who cannot protect themselves. She would be a vital contributor to the police force as she can offer more than physical protection. She is able to give emotional support that sometimes only a female officer can provide – woman to woman.

The image of friends painting each other’s nails reiterates the idea of female bonding and looking out for one another. It’s a gesture of friendship, taking time and a place to speak without judgment.
